Welcome to Wildflowers and the Word!

First, I want to say, I’m so glad you’re here. Thank you for taking the time to check out my blog, it means the world to me.

My hope and prayer is that this blog reaches those who want to learn more about Jesus and His love for us. While I am by no means a theologian or scholar (in fact I’m just a girl with her bible!) I hope that this blog helps deepen your faith and encourages curiosity in the Word of God.

Wildflowers and the Word is a project that’s been on my heart for a long time. I’ve even owned the domain for three years, waiting for the right time—God’s timing! I’ve always felt called towards ministry, and now, I’m stepping into that calling with a heart full of excitement to see what God will do!

Why “Wildflowers & the Word”?

Our namesake comes from Luke 12:27, “Consider how the wild flowers grow. They do not labor or spin. Yet I tell you, not even Solomon in all his splendor was dressed like one of these.”

I’ve struggled with anxiety for much of my life, and Luke 12:22-34 is a passage I consistently turn to to remind myself to trust in the Lord. Verse 27 is special to me, because few things bring me more peace than flowers – especially a field of wildflowers!

So the name came together naturally: two beautiful reminders of God’s presence—His peace and His Word.

Let’s Grow Together!

My prayer is that Wildflowers and the Word becomes a place where God meets you right where you are. If you’re walking through something, seeking answers, or just curious about faith—this space is for you. Let’s seek Him together, one post at a time.

Blog posts will be published on the 7th of every month, so I hope you stay tuned!

You can also connect with me on social media, where I post short devotionals, words of encouragement, and Bible reflections between blog posts.

Since this ministry is still in its early stages (and I have so much to learn!), I know the website has a lot of growing to do. New features and content will be added along the way, and I’m excited to have you along for the journey.

I’m praying that this space brings encouragement, peace, and a deeper love for Jesus. If something here speaks to you, don’t hesitate to reach out or share it with someone who might need it too.

I’m so glad you’re here!
